What data we collect — currently
dendro.tools does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any form of server-side
analytics. The only data stored is your UI preferences (language, unit system,
green/dry toggle, growing context) saved in your browser's localStorage.
This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
Advertising (planned)
We intend to display ads via Google AdSense. When AdSense is enabled, Google will set advertising cookies on your device. These cookies are used to show you relevant ads and to measure ad performance. Under EU law (ePrivacy Directive and GDPR), your consent will be required before these cookies are set.
When advertising goes live, a cookie consent banner (Consent Management Platform) will appear on your first visit. You will be able to accept or refuse advertising cookies. The calculator will remain fully functional regardless of your choice.
Your rights (GDPR)
As an EU resident, you have the right to access, rectify, and erase any personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). Since we currently collect no personal data, these rights are not yet practically applicable — but they will be fully respected when advertising is introduced.
